Why the GTS?
The Global Transformation Services team or GTS was established to
support the expert efforts of our PeopleSoft and Oracle implementation
teams. Through our collective experiences we found that too often ERP
implementations limped to the finish line simply because the
transformation support activities necessary to produce outstanding
project results were rarely enough of the immediate strategic effort.
We wanted this practice to change immediately and instead position
Providge Consulting to turn the transformation "afterthought" approach
into a strategic advantage.
What is the GTS?
Like all Providge Consulting practices our GTS organization consists of
PeopleSoft and Oracle consulting experts with decades of experience in
our four principal service areas: Change Management, Training and
Development, On-Boarding and Communications. These four areas were
chosen because each is rooted in the services that shape and shepherd
new realities for our clients. While other consulting firms offer
similar services, few perform them with application experts and even
fewer perform them with resources versatile enough to engage an
organization at all levels. In all GTS activities we seek first to
understand. This allows us to utilize our methodologies and let our
clients drive the results. And in all efforts we maintain four
overarching goals related to an Organizational Focus, a Capital
Approach, Service Versatility, and Timely Implementations.

Organizational Focus
Our goal is to eliminate the white wash approach to transformation
whereby organizations develop (sub)standard materials then blitz
employees with them having little regard for their consequence. Every
year hundreds of thousands of dollars are stripped from a company's
bottom-line simply because an organization was unwilling to take on the
burden of creating and managing the second most important aspect of any
project---preparing the right users to engage the multi-million dollar
system they've just implemented.
Capital Approach
Our goal is to focus on what must be communicated to further the
implementation's results. We put all transformation efforts through an
impact assessment detailing how an organization benefits from the
investment they are making. If it makes sense to an organization's
bottom-line, it makes sense to our strategy. If we cannot directly or
indirectly relate the benefits of transformation to our client's
investment in transformation then we keep strategizing until it does.
Service Versatility
Our goal is to match our client's transformation needs with the right
suite of available learning tools. Whether it's integrating a Learning
Management System with a PeopleSoft Human Resources implementation,
Change Management communication aids for an Oracle Financials module,
or a centralized intranet Training repository housing lessons and tips in
a Content Management System, we implement those tools that improve
organizational-acceptance and transaction-improvement. Our consultants
and methodology are versatile enough to stay focused on an
organization's transformation needs no matter how extensive those needs
may be.
Timely Implementations
Our goal is to synchronize the delivery of knowledge and tools when
they make the most impact. Because our GTS team engages implementations at a
project's inception, we can adjust transformation requirements if the
priorities of an implementation change. We engage the right communities
with the right input so our services are delivered when they are
necessary and effective.
